Update: VCU lecture featuring Harvard’s James Ryan postponed

Virginia Commonwealth University is postponing its ninth annual John and Mary Sue Oehler Lecture for Educational Leadership, scheduled for Thursday, March 5, at 4:30 p.m. in the University Student Commons.

The new date has not been determined.

Sponsored by the VCU School of Education in collaboration with VCU Libraries, the 2015 Oehler Lecture will feature keynote speaker James Ryan, J.D., the 11th dean of the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a leading expert on law and education.

Ryan will discuss what has changed and what has not changed in the five years since his book, “Five Miles Away, A World Apart,” was published.
