VCU Board of Visitors to meet April 6

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors will meet on Thursday, April 6, at 1 p.m. in the James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave., Richmond, Virginia, to discuss the fiscal year 2018 budget. After the budget discussion, the board will go into closed session to discuss real estate acquisitions and/or dispositions including athletics’ master plan, certain personnel matters involving the performance of identifiable employees and a special award/honorary degree to be given at commencement.

In addition, several members of the Board of Visitors will hold a meeting and immediately convene in closed session on Thursday, April 6, at 11 a.m. in the James Branch Cabell Library, Room 311, 901 Park Ave., Richmond, Virginia, to discuss personnel matters involving the performance of identifiable employees.

In accordance with the board’s operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there shall be no opportunity for public comment at these meetings.
