VCU Health continues its series of educational seminars on current health care topics in September. The following seminars will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s Kelly Education Center, 1800 Lakeside Ave. All of the seminars are free and open to the public, but registration is recommended.

“Parkinson’s Disease: an eye into disease-modifying therapies”

Want to learn more about Parkinson’s disease and the latest research? Join Mark Baron, M.D., interim director of the VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorder Center, to learn about this condition. Baron’s talk will focus on his collaborative research using an eye-tracking system to differentiate between Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, and research with the promise of slowing disease progression.
