VCU Police Raise $1,200 for Special Olympics

The VCU Police Department held a bowling tournament fund-raiser on July 22 for Special Olympics Virginia. More than 70 officers, family members and other supporters participated, raising $1,200. 

VCU Police have supported Special Olympics Virginia through a number of fund-raisers for the past 14 years and will hold additional activities later this year.

Special Olympics Virginia offers a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for more than 10,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
