VCU Police participate in national “Click It or Ticket” campaign

Corporal Marvin Wingo, canine supervisor, prepares to check a vehicle for seat belt compliance and other safety issues. Of the 465 vehicles passing through the checkpoint, officers arrested two people for driving under the influence and issued 121 traffic citations, including 20 for seatbelt violations, 29 for expired registrations, 26 for outdated vehicle inspections and 12 for operating a vehicle without a license.
