VCU Professor’s Extensive African Literature Collection Now Housed at International Partner University KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)

One of Virginia Commonwealth University’s international partnership universities, University KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN,) celebrated the opening of an extensive African literature collection at the university’s Centre for African Literary Studies.

The large collection of African literary material was purchased from Richard Priebe, Ph.D., VCU professor emeritus of English and African literature. The collection’s launch was celebrated on UKZN’s Pietermaritzburg campus on Oct. 13.
