VCU Police Unveil New Educational Tool to Illustrate the Toll of Drunk Driving

Police also will discuss a safety checkpoint set for this weekend

Virginia Commonwealth University Police will unveil a new educational tool to illustrate the toll of drunk driving and will discuss a safety checkpoint to take place on St. Patrick’s Day.

The unveiling will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 15, on the VCU compass, which is located between Cabell Library, Hibbs Hall and the Shafer Court Dining Center on the Monroe Park Campus. Media parking is available along the 900 block of Park Avenue on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to the VCU Police Department, representatives from the VCU Division of Student Affairs, the VCU Wellness Resource Center and VCU Student Government Association will participate in the unveiling event.
