The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors will hold an in-person and electronic retreat on October 30 beginning at 9 a.m.

The retreat will be held in both open and closed session. The meeting will take place in the James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave., Richmond, Virginia. Board members who are participating electronically will access the meeting via Zoom.

If you would like to attend the Board of Visitors meeting in-person on Friday, October 30, you must register by providing the following information via email sent to bov@vcu.edu: name, email and phone number, VCU affiliation, (e.g. student, faculty, employee, alumni, parent or member of the public), identify which date(s) you plan to attend, and request for reasonable accommodation if needed. Please note in the subject line that you are registering to attend the BOV Retreat meeting. You may also call Chelsea Gray, board liaison, at (804) 828-9213 to register.

To ensure the safety of our students, faculty and staff, all those participating in person must physically distance, wear clean masks inside of buildings and outside in high-traffic spaces, and wash their hands frequently. We also must limit the size of in-person gatherings. In order to so, we will be requiring that those who plan to attend the meeting in-person register in advance. Preference will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 10 individuals to register will have the opportunity to attend in person; individuals beyond the first 10 may watch the open sessions via the livestream at https://mssvideo.vcu.edu/BOV. Should you have any interruption with the video broadcast of the meeting, please contact Taron James at (804) 828-8313.

Details of the meeting can be found at https://president.vcu.edu/board/meetings/.

In accordance with board procedures, there will be no opportunity for public comment during the meeting.
