In preparation for Saturday’s gubernatorial rally on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus, all bikes should be removed from bike racks located on the Compass.

This includes racks near Hibbs Hall, Cabell Library and Shafer Dining; bikes should be removed by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21. After 4 p.m., VCU Facilities will tag bikes for removal and will remove them starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 22. Cyclists can contact RamBikes starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 25, to retrieve a bike if it was removed; to reclaim a bike, cyclists must have the key to their bike lock.

VCU Police can provide new, free U-locks to cyclists, if needed. VCUPD headquarters is located at 224 E. Broad St. or cyclists can email crimeprevreq@vcu.edu. The bike racks on the Compass will be available for use again after 5 p.m. on Saturday.
