VCU Board of Visitors to meet in person Oct. 20-21

The Board of Visitors retreat will take place at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors has scheduled a reception on Oct. 20 and a Board of Visitors retreat on Oct. 21. The meeting details are below.

 

Thursday, Oct. 20:

The rector and president will host a VCU Board of Visitors and VCUHS Board of Directors reception on Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Boathouse at Rockett’s Landing, 4708 E. Old Main St., Richmond, Virginia. The reception is invitation only.

Friday, Oct. 21:

The Board of Visitors retreat will take place at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, 428 N. Arthur Ashe Blvd., Richmond, Virginia, and begin at 9 a.m. The public may view a livestream of the open session videoconference here: mssvideo.vcu.edu/BOV. Should you have any interruption with the video broadcast of the meeting, please contact Taron James at (804) 828-8313.

If you would like to attend the Board of Visitors retreat in person on Oct. 21, you must register by providing the following information via email sent to bov@vcu.edu: name, email and phone number, VCU affiliation, (e.g., student, faculty, employee, alumni, parent or member of the public), identify you plan to attend the BOV retreat, and request for reasonable accommodation if needed. Please note in the subject line that you are registering to attend the Oct. 21 BOV retreat. You may also call Chelsea Gray, board liaison, at (804) 828-9213 to register.

In accordance with board procedures, there will be no opportunity for public comment at the retreat.
