DisruptRVA returns to VCU on Oct. 30, showcasing innovative approaches to work and collaboration

DisruptRVA, part of the renowned international speaker series aimed at revolutionizing the way humans collaborate and work together, returns this month to Virginia Commonwealth University.

Hosted by The Change Decision and the Institute for Transformative Leadership at the VCU School of Business, the event will take place Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m. at Snead Hall, Room 1127, 301 W. Main St. Doors open at 5 p.m. for cocktails and light refreshments.

DisruptRVA is a unique platform that challenges conventional work norms and explores new dimensions of human collaboration, transforming work into an integral part of a fulfilling life. Presenters will engage the audience with dynamic five-minute talks, accompanied by 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds. This format ensures that the event is brimming with energy and innovative ideas, promising an evening of inspiration and meaningful conversations.

This edition of DisruptRVA marks the event’s return to the VCU Business School. Previous editions in 2017, 2018 and 2019 left attendees with fresh perspectives on work dynamics.

Tickets for DisruptRVA are $35 (or $5 for VCU students) and can be purchased at connect.business.vcu.edu/register/disrupt-rva-october-2024. Early registration is encouraged, as seats are limited. Any ticket proceeds above the cost of the event will go to the Institute for Transformative Leadership to support VCU student leadership experiences and scholarship.
