Enterprise Marketing and Communications at VCU wins multiple Virginia PR awards
VCU Business Services and the MCV Foundation were among the others honored for their work.

Enterprise Marketing and Communications at Virginia Commonwealth University won four awards and was named a finalist 10 times across eight categories at the 78th Virginia Public Relations Awards on Wednesday at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture.
The awards, organized by the Richmond chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, honors excellence in public relations across the commonwealth, celebrating the strategic impact, creativity and results achieved by communications professionals.
VCU and VCU Health team members in EMC won awards for national media relations, crisis communications and issues management, reputation/brand management and sponsored content.
The division was also finalist in categories including creative tactics, local media relations, organic social media, sponsored content, community relations, reputation/brand management and marketing consumer products/services.
“I’m so proud to see our division recognized with PRSA awards, which reflect not just outstanding work, but the essential role we play in helping VCU and VCU Health achieve key goals,” said Grant Heston, vice president for Enterprise Marketing and Communications for VCU and VCU Health. “The division’s work drives understanding, connection and impact across everything we do. Congratulations to everyone involved in these award-winning efforts.”
In addition to EMC, VCU Business Services won PRSA awards for brochures and shoestring budget marketing campaigns, and the MCV Foundation won an award for external videos.
