School of Business dean finalists announced

Virginia Commonwealth University has announced its six finalists for the position of dean of the VCU School of Business.

The finalists were selected by the School of Business Dean’s Search Committee. Each candidate will visit campus to meet with faculty, staff and students. All VCU School of Business faculty, staff and students, as well as members of the VCU School of Business Foundation Board, will be able to provide feedback with a valid VCU eID by visiting the search process Web site – http://www.busdeansearch.vcu.edu. The site also includes information about the finalists and the search process, including details about the candidates’ presentations on campus.

The six finalists are:

  • David Urban, interim dean of the VCU School of Business (presentations on Oct. 13-14)
  • Robert Morgan, professor of marketing in the University of Alabama School of Business (Oct. 20-21)
  • Rodney Rogers, dean of the College of Business Administration at Bowling Green State University (Oct. 22-23)
  • Timothy Sugrue, dean of the School of Business at Clarkson University (Oct. 26-27)
  • Prabir Bagchi, senior associate dean of the School of Business at George Washington University (Oct. 28-29)
  • Ed Grier, president of Disneyland Resort (Nov. 2-3)
