Baccalaureate, diploma ceremonies scheduled for VCU commencement

RICHMOND, Va. — An interfaith baccalaureate service and several diploma-awarding ceremonies planned by various schools and departments will be held as part of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Commencement activities for 2000.

The baccalaureate service for VCU graduates will be held at 5:30 p.m. on May 12 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Park Ave. and Laurel St. The speaker will be Father Michael Renninger, Vice Rector for the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. The service is sponsored by the VCU Interfaith Campus Ministers Association.

Numerous VCU schools and departments also have organized diploma-awarding ceremonies for their graduates. Most ceremonies will be held on May 13, unless otherwise noted. Those ceremonies include:

COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES AND SCIENCES:
