Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU to Announce Rare Medical Procedure

A team of Virginia Commonwealth University surgeons and representatives from the World Pediatric Project will hold a news conference at 1 p.m. today to announce completion of a rare medical procedure at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.

The news conference will be held in the area outside the first-floor board room of the Critical Care Hospital, 1213 E. Clay St. Several parking spots will be set aside for media on a first-come, first-served basis on Clay Street between 10th and 11th streets.

Media must be escorted into the hospital. Representatives from the VCU Office of Communications and Public Relations will be on hand.
