CreateAthon onCampus
More than 40 students participated in the second annual CreateAthon onCampus on March 12 and 13 on the VCU campus.
CreateAthon onCampus is a 24-hour marathon of creative work benefiting Richmond-area nonprofits that have little or no resources for marketing projects. VCU is the only university in the country to adapt the CreateAthon model to a college campus; advertising agencies around the country have also held CreateAthon campaigns.
Organizers received applications from more than 60 nonprofits hoping to participate this year. Twelve clients were selected that best fit the students’ expertise and the 24-hour creative window.
