VCU DEPARTMENT OF PAINTING AND PRINTMAKING TO SPONSOR ART EXHIBITION
VCU’s Department of Painting and Printmaking will sponsor the exhibition, "INTERACTION 25: Twenty-five Reasons to Go Out On a Wednesday Evening.” The exhibit will feature works on paper by 25 graduating seniors from the department. The works are created in a variety of media including etching, silkscreen, oil, acrylic, pencil, charcoal and digital-based imagery.
The exhibition is Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Fishbowl Gallery, located on the third floor of the Fine Arts Building, 1000 W. Broad St. The event is free and open to the public.
"INTERACTION 25" also will be on display from 2 p.m. on Nov. 29 until noon on Dec. 6 at the Fishbowl Gallery. Public access to the building is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. For more information, call Maegan Wilburn at 307-4240 or Emily Riley at 353-5023.
