The Weinstein Jewish Community Center Knitzvah Knitters began meeting in June of this year. The goal of the project, spearheaded by Rhona Arenstein with the Weinstein JCC, was to knit blankets for children in acute or residential care at the VTCC that will provide them with comfort and security as they go through treatment. The group started with three or four women, but has now grown to approximately 70. Each blanket is made up of 28 squares.
