MCV Alumni Association schedules reunion weekend

Virginia Commonwealth University’s MCV Alumni Association expects about 1,200 graduates from its schools of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and nursing to attend this year’s MCV Campus reunion weekend.

MCV Campus alumni will gather at the Omni Richmond Hotel April 22 through April 24. Alumni are invited to attend the reunion to mark five-year milestones from graduation.

The association will present many alumni awards, including the Outstanding Alumnus Award and the Hodges-Kay Service Award. Also honored will be alumni from the class of 1955, who will be receiving a 50-year pin.

Also during the reunion, Linda Olson Keller, a nationally recognized expert in public health, will lecture on "Public Health: Passion, Politics and Power" at the 37th Annual Mahoney Nursing Alumni Lectureship.

The Alumni Association promotes building relationships with alumni across all areas of the university in support of the missions of the university and the schools on the MCV Campus.
