National advocate for people with disabilities challenges businesses at VCU roundtable

Attendees representing Virginia businesses and advocates for the disabled listened to Romano’s challenge for businesses not to reject qualified workers just because they have disabilities. He said VCU is at the forefront of a movement to get more businesses to hire those workers. “Businesses are the engine for social change,” said Romano. “If businesses see other businesses hiring people with disabilities, they will follow.”
