New report details VCU’s economic and cultural impact on the city, region and state

Virginia Commonwealth University President Michael Rao, Ph.D., will join Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney and other university and community leaders to discuss a new report about VCU’s economic and cultural impact on the City of Richmond, the Richmond metropolitan area and Virginia.

Reporters are invited to a news conference about the report’s findings on Tuesday, Jan. 10, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Atrium of the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park BioTech One building, 800 E. Leigh St. Limited media parking is available nearby.

The report was completed by VCU’s Center for Urban and Regional Analysis. Links to the report and a related video will be available at the time of the news conference.
