Phoebe P. Hall named to VCU Board of Visitors

Gov. Terry McAuliffe has appointed Phoebe P. Hall to the Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors to serve the unexpired term of her late husband Franklin “Frank” P. Hall.
Hall, the co-founder, CEO and senior partner of Hall & Hall PLC, has practiced family law, elder law and estate planning since 1969.
Hall has received numerous honors and awards for her professional service and volunteer contributions to the community. She has been named a Super Lawyer annually since 2011, based on independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. She received the Leaders in the Law award in 2011, the Alzheimer’s Advocates award for 2012, the Influential Women of Virginia award in 2010 and the Woman of Achievement annual award for 2006. She was also elected as a fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation in 2014.
Hall has participated in various volunteer efforts, including Wills for Seniors, which provides free legal estate planning services to eligible seniors. She also served as the 2011 and 2012 co-chair for the Alzheimer’s Reasons to Hope Breakfast, which raised more than $200,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association. She is a supporter of matters related to autism, of the MS Walk and of the VCU Massey Cancer Center.
Frank Hall, a longtime Richmond area delegate and member of the Board of Visitors since 2014, died in May.
