A group of Virginia Commonwealth University students gathered at the School of Business auditorium for a silent candlelight vigil hosted by the Student Government Association.

"This is a place for members of the VCU community to come together and reflect, regardless of what their opinions are," said Shivani Gupta, president of VCU's Student Government Association.

At the start of the vigil, participants sat peacefully inside the auditorium while listening to music and then gathered outside with lit candles where they were able to silently reflect on the world's conflicts.
