Temple University product innovation scholar to speak at VCU School of Business

The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business will welcome Anthony Di Benedetto, Ph.D., professor of marketing and supply chain management and Senior Washburn Research Fellow at Temple University, to campus this month for the 2014 Charles G. Thalhimer Family Executive-in-Residence program.
Di Benedetto will present "Lost in Translation: The Challenges of Branding Around the Globe" on Friday, March 21, at 8 a.m. in the VCU Brandcenter, 103 S. Jefferson St. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Registration is available at http://business.vcu.edu/
Di Benedetto has been ranked among the top 10 academic researchers in product innovation worldwide. He holds a Ph. D. in administration, an M.B.A. and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from McGill University in Montreal.
In 2010, Di Benedetto was named the Fulbright-Kathryn and Craig Hall Chair in Entrepreneurship and spent a semester teaching and doing research at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien in Vienna, Austria, and at St. Petersburg State University in Russia. He has held visiting professorships in Eindhoven, Rome, Milan, Calgary, Hamilton and Osaka.
The Charles G. Thalhimer Family Executive-in-Residence program, established in 1984, has been the premier external leadership program at the School of Business, and is designed to bring nationally and internationally prominent business leaders to the VCU campus for interaction with students, faculty, students, alumni, community leaders and the public.
