VCU Board of Visitors Meetings to Meet Aug. 20, 21

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors has scheduled three meetings this week, all of them to be held at the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons, 907 Floyd Ave., Richmond.

The board will convene at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20, and then meet in a closed session to discuss personnel matters, the presidential transition process and related matters.

The board will convene at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20 for a dinner meeting and to receive a report on VCU's 40^th anniversary activities.

The board will convene at 9:45 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 21, in open session for a regularly scheduled quarterly meeting.

In accordance with the board's operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there will be no opportunity for public comment at the meetings.
