VCU Board of Visitors, Presidential Search Committee Meetings Set for Nov. 19, 20

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors has scheduled several meetings next week.

The board will convene at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, and then meet in a closed session to discuss the presidential transition process and related matters. That meeting will be held at the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons, 907 Floyd Ave., Richmond.

The board will convene at 9 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, in open session for a regularly scheduled quarterly meeting. That meeting will be held in the Critical Care Hospital board room at the VCU Medical Center, 1213 E. Clay St., Richmond.

The Presidential Search Committee will convene at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20 at the University Meeting Center, 101 N. Harrison St., Richmond, and after a brief open session, meet in closed session. 

The Presidential Search Committee will conduct its final Town Hall Meeting to obtain input from VCU students, faculty and staff at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20 at the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons, 907 Floyd Ave.

In accordance with the board’s operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there will be no opportunity for public comment at the meetings.
