VCU Board of Visitors to Hold Meetings April 29

A special committee of the Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors will be held on Thursday, April 29, from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. at the VCU Meeting Center, 101 N. Harrison St., Richmond.

The special committee meeting will be in closed session to discuss the acquisition or use of real property for public purpose, or of the disposition of publicly held real property, where discussion in an open session would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of VCU as authorized by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.

A meeting of the full board will convene in open session at 9 a.m. to discuss the budget and other university matters.  

In accordance with the board’s operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there will be no opportunity for public comment at the meetings.
