VCU Board of Visitors to meet Aug. 22

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors will meet on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Richmond Salons I and II at the University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave., for new member orientation and a retreat.

Members will adjourn for part of the meeting to go into closed session to discuss personnel matters and matters relating to gifts, bequests and fundraising activities.

In accordance with the Board’s operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there shall be no opportunity for public comment at this meeting.
