VCU Department of Interior Design and ASID to present career fair

WHAT:         Virginia Commonwealth University�s Department of Interior Design and the Virginia chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), will present a career fair for interior design students.

                    The event will feature presentations by designers, guest speakers and roundtable discussions on topics such as entering design competitions and establishing a career in the design field. There also will be over 25 design firms and representatives who will meet with students and offer advice on resume/portfolio review, set design and historical preservation.

WHO:             Open to interior design students, the fair will feature renowned interior designers Hugh Latta and Penny Bonda.

WHEN:           Friday Feb. 20, 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

WHERE:        VCU Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave., Richmond.

COST:            Advance registration is $10 for student ASID members and $15 for non-members and registration at the door. Registration fee also covers lunch and refreshments throughout the day.  For more information or to register, call 804.360.9757.
