VCU Graduate Schools Ranked Among America’s Best
Two programs best in nation

The Virginia Commonwealth University graduate schools of the Arts, Social Work, Education and Nursing are ranked among the nation's best in the latest survey by U.S. News and World Report of "America's Best Graduate Schools." In addition, two programs are ranked no. 1 in the country – Nurse Anesthesia and Sculpture.
The VCU School of the Arts is ranked 6th, the School of Social Work is ranked 14th; the School of Nursing is ranked 47th and the School of Education is ranked 49th with teacher preparation listed in the top 50.
Other VCU graduate programs ranked among the best in the nation are: Graphic Design, 4th; Painting and Drawing, 10th; Health Care Management, 4th; Rehabilitation Counseling, 13th; and Women's Health, 18th.
"We're pleased that these rankings of our graduate programs correspond to other national and international rankings that recognize Virginia Commonwealth University as a top institution," said VCU President Eugene P. Trani. "They reinforce the world-class reputation of our faculty and students."
VCU graduate schools carrying over previous rankings are: School of Pharmacy, 21st and School of Dentistry, 13th. VCU graduate programs carrying over previous rankings are: Occupational Therapy, 15th; Physical Therapy, 25th; Community Health, 18th; Clinical Psychology, 68th; Creative Writing, 50th; Public Affairs, 65th and Psychology (Research) (Ph.D.), 151st.
