VCU Medical Center Presents Brain Health Seminar

The Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center will present a seminar on brain health as part of the Every Day, A New Discovery Seminar Series.
“The Aging Brain and American Society: Are We at a Tipping Point?” will take place Tuesday, June 8, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p. m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Education and Library Complex, 1800 Lakeside Ave. The seminar is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
James Bennett, M.D., Ph.D., director of the VCU Parkinson's Disease Research and Treatment Center, will talk about what happens to energy production in the aging brain and how that could be related to diseases of the brain.
