VCU Medical Center presents ‘Diabetes and Vision Loss’

Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center continues its free educational seminar series this spring featuring experts who provide important health information and answer questions on a variety of current topics in health care.
The series’ next lecture, “Diabetes and Vision Loss,” will take place on Tuesday, April 8, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Education and Library Complex, 1800 Lakeside Ave. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required. “Diabetes and Vision Loss” will be presented by Evan Kaufman, O.D., of the VCU Department of Ophthalmology. The seminar will discuss vision loss due to uncontrolled diabetes and prevention tips for vision loss due to diabetes.
