VCU Medical Center Presents Seminar on Asthma and Emphysema

The Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center will present a seminar on new treatments for asthma and emphysema as part of the VCU Medical Center Seminar Series.

The seminar will take place Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Education and Library Complex, 1800 Lakeside Ave. The seminar is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Wes Shepherd, M.D., interventional pulmonologist in the Department of Internal Medicine’s Division of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine, will discuss novel approaches using bronchoscopy to treat asthma and emphysema.
