VCU Medical Center Seminar on Lung Cancer Screening and Smoking Cessation

The Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center will present a seminar on lung cancer screening and smoking cessation as part of the VCU Medical Center’s seminar series.

The seminar will take place Tuesday, April 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Education and Library Complex, 1800 Lakeside Ave. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Mark Parker, M.D., professor of diagnostic radiology and internal medicine in the Department of Radiology, will discuss the new Lung Cancer Screening Program at VCU and will share additional information about how to kick the smoking habit.
