VCU Medical Center to Continue Series of Free Educational Seminars

The Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center will continue its series of free educational seminars on current health care topics this month.
In recognition of American Heart Month in February, the medical center will present three heart healthy seminars that will offer tips for good heart health and stroke prevention as well as discuss the latest treatment options available for cardiovascular disease.
This month's seminars are “Less Invasive Surgical Options for Heart Disease” on Feb. 7, “Cardiovascular Health for a Long Life” on Feb. 23 and “Act Fast to Prevent and Treat Stroke” on Feb. 28.
All seminars are from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, 1800 Lakeside Ave. They are free and open to the public, but registration is required.
