VCU Medical Center to Hold Celebration of Life Event for Patients with Pulmonary Hypertension

In recognition of November as Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month, the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center will hold a Celebration of Life party for patients with pulmonary hypertension – high blood pressure in the arteries or lungs that can lead to heart failure.
Sponsored by the Pulmonary Hypertension Center, the event will take place Saturday, Nov. 13, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Science Museum of Virginia, 2500 W. Broad St.
The event will honor and celebrate pulmonary hypertension patients, who will be joined by their families, members of the service at VCU, the president of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and representatives from the various companies that help VCU care for these patients.
