VCU postpones Life Science building dedication ceremony

As a result of the tragic events this week in New York and Washington D.C., Virginia Commonwealth University has postponed the Sept. 20 dedication ceremony for its new Life Sciences building and the subsequent official launch of its Life Sciences curriculum initiative.

University administration decided late yesterday that it would be inappropriate to hold such a celebration at this time.

The event will be rescheduled at a later date.
