VCU RamBikes Stand Unveiling

VCU RamBikes is holding a ribbon cutting for the RamBikes Stand, a bike lounge for cyclists.

The event takes place on Thursday, Oct. 11, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the RamBikes Stand, 201 N. Belvidere. After a brief introduction, media will have the opportunity to tour the facility.

The VCU RamBikes Stand is the home of cycling on campus and takes an innovative approach to cycling education. The facility offers a welcoming and collaborative environment for cyclists of all kinds, as well as those looking to get started. Services include safety and maintenance clinics, a full repair shop for students to work on their bikes and access to bike ambassadors who can help students find the closest bike shops, pick out a bike part or plan a commuting route.
