VCU Real Estate Circle of Excellence Names Honorary Member

Steve Brincefield, senior vice president at Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer and adjunct professor in the Real Estate Program at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business, has been named an honorary member of VCU’s Real Estate Circle of Excellence.

Brincefield, who received a master’s degree from VCU, has worked at Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer for 38 years and has taught in the VCU Real Estate Program for 34 years. 

The Real Estate Circle of Excellence is a group of real estate and mortgage lending executives who provide advice on the quality and relevance of the Real Estate Program’s educational and research programs, offer student internships and scholarships and organize the annual VCU Real Estate Trends Conference.

VCU’s Real Estate Program, which is part of the Department of Finance, Insurance and Real Estate in the VCU School of Business, offers master’s and bachelor’s degrees in real estate. VCU is the only university in the state with a bachelor’s degree in real estate.
