VCU to Announce Largest Research Award in its History

Virginia Commonwealth University officials on Wednesday will announce the largest federal research grant in the history of the university that will have regional and statewide economic impact.

The announcement will be made at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, in the Gateway Building of the VCU Medical Center, 1200 E. Marshall St. A few parking spaces have been set aside for media on a first-come, first-served basis, on the north side of Clay Street at the intersection of 12th Street. Media are asked to mark their vehicles in an obvious fashion.
