VCU To Hold Grand Re-Opening For Hunton Student Center

Virginia Commonwealth University on Wednesday will formally dedicate the newly renovated Hunton Student Center on the MCV Campus. 

The dedication ceremony and grand re-opening will take place Wednesday, Jan. 24 at noon in the 2^nd floor student lounge of the HuntonStudentCenter, 1110 E. Broad St. A reception will follow.

The VCU Board of Visitors approved a name change from Hunton Hall to the Hunton Student Center to reflect its new broader mission and history as a student union.

The $5 million renovation project began in 2005 and operation of the building has been transferred to the University Student Commons and Activities department in the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services.
