The Virginia Commonwealth University Health System has earned a distinguished Kronos Inc. Best Practices Award.
The awards recognize individuals and organizations that have achieved unprecedented value and success through the effective implementation and deployment of a Kronos solution.
“We are proud of this recognition and of the achievement of our entire team that has helped implement and manage Kronos,” said Diana Bernier, director of Payroll Operations.
The VCU Health System utilized Workforce Timekeeper, which enabled it to overcome a business challenge of accessing real time data. As a result, managers are now able to view and approve employee time records, which according to Bernier, has improved the accuracy of data prior to each payroll run.
Bernier says the VCUHS is a large operation with about 8,000 employees and 4,000 contract workers.
Seven finalists were chosen this year. Kronos serves customers in more than 60 countries through its network of offices, subsidiaries and distributors. For more information on the Best Practices Awards program, visit www.kronos.com.
