VCU’s Board of Visitors Executive Committee to meet in Qatar

The Executive Committee of the Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors will convene at VCU’s campus in Doha, Qatar, at 3:30 p.m. (7:30 a.m. EST), Wednesday, Nov. 12, for an Open Forum with faculty, staff and students to obtain their input on the selection of a new VCU president.

The successful candidate will replace President Eugene P. Trani, who will retire from his position as university president and president and chair of the VCU Health System next summer. He will remain at VCU as University Distinguished Professor.
