VCU’s Board of Visitors to meet May 14, 15

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors has scheduled several meetings this week.

The board committees will meet throughout the day on Thursday, May 14, beginning at 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., at the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons, 907 Floyd Ave.

The board will meet in the same location at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, for a joint board meeting with the VCU Health System Board of Directors. This is the annual joint meeting of the two boards.

The board will reconvene at 7:30 a.m., Friday, May 15, at the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons, for a regularly scheduled quarterly meeting. The meeting will begin with a closed session for the purpose of discussing faculty appointments and other personnel actions, development report and report of the General Counsel.

Among open session agenda items is consideration and action on 2009-2010 academic year tuition and fees. 

In accordance with the board's operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there will be no opportunity for public comment at the meeting.
