VCU’S L. Douglas Wilder School of Goverment and Public Affairs hires a coordinator of development and communication

RICHMOND, Va. (July 17, 2006) -- Virginia Commonwealth University has named Tiffany Murray as the new coordinator of development and communication at the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs.
Murray will focus on promoting the Wilder School to the academic community and alumni.
Murray was born in New York and raised in the Richmond area. She is a 1999 graduate of Douglas S. Freeman High School in Henrico County where she was enrolled in the Center for Leadership, Government and Global Economics.
In 2003, Murray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from the University of Virginia.
Murray previously held positions at the Virginia Department of Social Services where she worked in public affairs and communications. More recently, she served as communications coordinator for the Office of Residence Life at Syracuse University where she was responsible for speechwriting and developing recruitment materials, prospect letters and newsletters.
