VCU’s L. Douglas Wilder School Of Government and Public Affairs Seeks “Excellence In Virginia Government Awards” Nominees

Virginia Commonwealth University's L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs is seeking nominees from across Virginia for the 3rd annual "Excellence in Virginia Government Awards."
Awards will be presented Nov. 29 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center to individuals and organizations in the public and private sectors who have contributed significantly to the practice of government and the well-being of the commonwealth's communities and citizens.
Nominations are being sought in the following categories: public information, public-private partnership, innovation in government, community enhancement, expansion of freedom and lifetime public achievement.
Nominations may be made by an individual or an organization and will be reviewed by a steering committee. Self-nominations are also welcome.
Nominations must be received by mail, by Aug. 17, 2007. Send them to:
