VCU President Michael Rao will make historic announcement at his State of the University Address

Rao will announce transformational news that will accelerate VCU’s ability to advance human health and position the university as a global leader in education, research and patient care.

Tomorrow, Virginia Commonwealth University President Michael Rao, Ph.D., will make a first-of-its-kind announcement in his State of the University address.

The announcement focuses on record philanthropy at VCU, in Virginia and in a field of medicine. The transformational news will accelerate VCU’s ability to advance human health and position the university as a global leader in education, research and patient care.

Reporters are invited to cover the address on Tuesday, Feb. 15, beginning at 11 a.m. in Lecture Hall 303 of James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave.
