During move-in days, expect heavy traffic and limited parking in the vicinity of the university’s residence halls. In addition, Laurel Street will be closed between Grace and Main.

Reuban Rodriguez, Ed.D., associate vice provost for student affairs and dean of students at VCU, will be available for media interviews about move-in days and the opening of the academic year from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday in front of Brandt Hall, at the corner of Laurel and Franklin streets. Media are not allowed inside dorms.
