Carver-VCU partnership to present Live Where You Work trolley tours

The Carver-Virginia Commonwealth University Partnership and the Alliance to Conserve Old Richmond (ACORN) will offer Live Where You Work trolley tours - free one hour riding tours designed for individuals or groups who wish to learn more about the historic Carver residential neighborhood near VCU.
Tours will be conducted by housing experts and historians, who also will share the basics and benefits of buying a home in a historic neighborhood near VCU.
The trolley tours will leave at noon from the following locations:
- Thursday, April 29 at the shuttle stop at Sanger Hall, 11th St. between Broad and Marshall Streets.
- Friday, April 30 at the Cabell Library shuttle stop.
Reservations are required and spaces are still available. Please call

ACORN also will hold "Sellabration" on May 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, downtown campus, 700 E. Jackson St. Potential homebuyers can learn about the availability of new homes and opportunities to renovate homes; finding a home; financing; or fixing up a house.
