Children’s Hospital of Richmond Presents Seminar on Diabetes

The Children’s Hospital of Richmond will present a seminar on diabetes tomorrow as part of the VCU Medical Center’s seminar series.

“Is there a Cure for Children with Diabetes?” will take place Tuesday, March 22, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Education and Library Complex, 1800 Lakeside Ave. The seminar is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Gary Frances, M.D., a pediatric endocrine specialist with the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, will discuss current diabetes management and novel treatments designed to prevent or reverse diabetes in children.
